Happy New Year Family and Friends!
Many of you know that I am in my sophomore year at Howard University. My time at Howard has been no less than amazing! While I have some financial support for tuition, books and other costs, I find that I am hitting some formidable financial challenges.
I am therefore reaching out to the village to help me quickly raise $5000. Howard University will grant me a 100% Match on all donations raised!
As a B.S. Elementary Education candidate, I have maintained a 3.7 GPA and I am 2-time Dean's list honoree. My ultimate goal in life is to make a difference in the future of education for our African American learners. More specifically, to help children grow internally to be more effective externally, eternally.
My current affiliations are:
-Founder of the Morgan-Price Foundation (Coming Fall 2016)
-CORPS Member with the JumpStart program (http://www.jstart.org)
-Student teacher with Turner Elementary School in SE Washington, D.C.,
-Member and Event Coordinator for Project Dream Big mentorship program
-Head Coach for the Residential Hall: Harriet Tubman Quadrangle Stroll Team (Former Ace of the Team)
I am asking for you to please donate at least $25 to ‘Go Fund Me’, an online fund which will be solely targeted for my Howard University tuition.
I trust that with the villagers contributing a small amount, the total will amass.
