Taking Mom to the King

Seaton, Debra S.

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, Debra (Debbie) S. Seaton passed peacefully with her family by her side at Montefiore Medical Center after a brief illness, at the age of 52.

Debbie was a 1984 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, where she proudly served as member of the ROTC, and a 1986 graduate of Spencerian Business Institute. She worked as a Shift Team Leader for Cumberland Farms where she was in training for a Store Management role.

Debbie Loved God and walked a strong walk with the Lord. While she was raised at Mt Carmel Church of Christ and lived most of her adult life with Newburgh Assembly of God, she found comfort at Grace Community Church.

Debbie was always the first to lend a hand, offer help, and never said no when called on to assist. Debbie loved spending time with her grand-daughter “Mimi” and loved to travel with family and her dear friends. She was strong, independent, and loved. Debbie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from Noon to 2:00pm at the Newburgh Campus of Grace Community Church, 128 Old South Plank Road, Newburgh NY 12550, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.
