Taking care of our Joey Chui Family

On Monday, March 16th, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the mandatory closure of our beloved Joey Chiu's restaurant. At 5pm on that day, twelve people who have taken care of us for years suddenly have no income to feed their kids, pay next months rent/mortgage or have simple daily funds to live while most of us are not terribly financially affected.
April, Peggy, Jorge, Diego, Pito, Steve, Sunny, Peter, Sean, Liz, David, George and Polo....solely rely on tips to pay the bills as bartenders, barbacks, busboys and servers. Please take a minute to think of how each of them greet you with a smile, know your drink, how you like your food prepared, remember the little things that make you feel special and sincerely care about all of us.
I ask you to generously donate as these families have no idea when they will receive their next paycheck.
