Hi everyone, my name is Jessi post. And to be honest, I'm really not sure where to start exactly. But I do know why I am wanted to start a gofundme page- for my mom. About 6 years ago the worst words anyone can hear came threw the phone.."I've been diagnosed with cancer."
Those were the words my mom told me. Being a teenager in grade 11, you dont really fully understand what that means. Nor could I grasp that horrible and nasty truth. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma cancer. She was put on a trial drug of chemotherapy in pill form.

Fast forward 5 and a half years to 2 days ago, ( April 18th). The cancer has spread. It is now in her colon and attached to her pancreas. April 19th, her cancer doctor calls saying "yes, there is new cancer cells growing. But it is treatable." (Huge weight lifted ) " the next thing we are going to do is talk to another cancer doctor to see if he can operate and remove the mass that is blocking and causing you pain. After that we will put you on a new medication." "Absolutely....yes there are definitely more options we can and will do."

So, I am 21. Working a part time job and trying my darn hardest to spoil and treat my mom to what she deserves. I am her only daughter, and I want to take her to Paris, France. I want to spend time with her before she is taken from me, and exploring a different country with her would be my all time favourite adventure.

Up until this moment in life, I never expected to have to rush to spend time with her. She basically raised my by herself, and did everything she could to make my life better than hers. She hasn't touched a bottle of alcohol in 6 years, she rides a Harley and is probably the craziest and most amazing woman anyone could ever know.

It takes a lot to ask for help, and this is where I'm starting. I'm not asking for your life savings, but I'm asking as a child who has to deal with the possibility of my mother being taken from me too early in life, for a donation. I appreciate ever dollar and thought and prayer you send our way. Thank you ❤
