Take it Seriously for Sam

Samantha (Sam) Hickey was a Nurse Practitioner in Caldwell, ID. She worked in Pediatrics. She took all the precautions, and still, she got Covid-19. She found out that she was positive last Monday. She felt like she was getting better but, then it got to her heart, causing her to have a heart attack and losing her life.

She leaves behind a loving husband, two young children (ages 7 and 5), two beautiful grown boys, a daughter-in-law, many more family members, and countless friends. Sam was 45 years old. She didn't drink, never smoked, never did drugs. She exercised regularly. There were no underlying concerns. 

The La Grande Class of 1992 would like to raise funds to help support this family as they grieve. We know there will be countless needs (childcare, replacement of Sam's income, college funds, etc.) We want to help. Sam was one of the most beautifully kind souls ever to grace this earth. Our hearts are breaking for her family. Please give if you can.
