On March 11th, my friends Taylor and Caylaugh welcomed their daughter, Mackenzie, to the world earlier than expected. At 27 weeks gestation, she weighs 1 pound and 14 ounces.
Mackenzie will need to stay in the NICU at Mt Sinai for the next few months so she can receive the care she needs.
With everything that has happened, Taylor and Caylaugh will now have expenses they could not have forseen. With lodging, meals, laundry, transportation, and loss of wages, the cost of staying in Toronto is one more thing this family should not have to worry about.
Let’s do this! Please, consider helping to lighten the load for this family while they are with their daughter.
