Children Coming to America

PLEASE HELP these wonderful children make their DREAMS come true.
They want to come to the United States and share their French Polynesian culture with you by song and dance. They come from a loving village and their story will touch your hearts and the hearts of others!
Their village is on a remote island, which is one hour away from Tahiti by plane. The island is Avatoru, Rangiroa. The population is 800. There are 60 CHILDREN between 4-14 years old who study and practice Tahitian & Hawaiian (hula) Dancing. Their main source of income is fishing and arts & crafts. Once they reach High School years, they are forced to leave their families and homes and move to Tahiti because their island cannot afford to build a high school. Most of these children have NEVER BEEN OFF THE ISLAND and share the dream of COMING TO AMERICA to experience things and places that they read in books and magazines. They have been fundraising for a year so they can come to the Bay Area and enter into a Hula Competition. This competition will be held in November 2019 in Pleasanton, Ca. During their trip, they will share their culture with other students and learn about the American culture.
The people of the island are the most beautiful people you will ever meet, inside and out. They are so grateful for every little thing. The children are very simple and do not focus on materialistic things. They don’t have big malls/ fancy restaurants or the luxuries that other children from America have. The island has one main simple store and the cost of living is very high.
We are requesting your kind consideration and loving hearts to help support this beautiful cause. By donating whatever you can, you will be changing their lives in ways you cannot even imagine! Please share this with your family and friends or anyone that might help them out!
