First and foremost, we want to thank you for clicking the link that sent you here. We're so grateful that you are taking time out of your day to check out our effort to help the victims of the recent earthquake and typhoon affecting the Philippines.
More than 20 years ago, our parents started a non-profit organization called the Sandugo USA Family Club based out of New York and New Jersey. One of the goals of the Sandugo is to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters in our home province of Bohol by working with a very popular radio program called "Inyong Alagad" (Your Servant) through a radio station, DYRD, owned by one of the club's members. Through "Inyong Alagad", the club has been able to provide financial aid to those who seek help. Through other outreach programs, the club has provided school supplies, as well as laptops, to our school systems in need. We've also been able to donate various medical equipment to health centers throughout our province.
It hurts our hearts to see the devastation that has hit the country where our families are from. To follow in our parent's footsteps, we, the Sandugo Youth, want to help.
We're kindly asking for any amount of donation you can make. No amount is too little - every little bit counts! If you're uncomfortable making a payment online, one of us will gladly take your donation in person. We can assure you that 100% of the money raised is going to the DYRD Disaster Fund, a disaster relief fund that works directly with some of the worst-hit areas of the province of Bohol (Click here to see an article on DYRD's recent funding effort by The Bohol Chronicle).
