Help Taco's Emergency Kidney Care

Hi, I'm Katie and this is my best cat-friend, Taco. Taco is a 10 year old rescue cat who lives with me, my partner gene and unicorn (her cat-sister). After about a week or so of not eating, weight loss and lethargy, we took taco to the vet for some tests.
Last night we received the bad news that Taco's kidney levels are significantly high and she is in stage 4 kidney disease. Our vet recommended immediate hospitalization in the ICU for IV fluids and antibiotics for 3 continuous days. We are hopeful that this will lower her kidney levels and she will be able to live a comfortable life for some time to come.As you can imagine, this was an extremely difficult decision to make as there are no guarantees and this type of procedure is very expensive.
Those who know me will attest to the fact I am well beyond "cat-lady" into cat obsession (I even have a huge tattoo of Taco on my arm) so it was a no-brainer that I would give her the best shot at comfort, relief and hopefully get to have my cat around for a long time. Our wonderful vet said this was her best shot and I'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet.
