Taco Truck Transmission Transplant!

Donation protected
Some people you meet and you think wow, this person has a work ethic like I have never seen. That’s what I thought when I first met Francisco. I watched him go from food truck to restaurant, following his dreams and making everyone around him smile. He did everything right, working 12 hour + days and was everything from Bartender, Chef, Server, and friend to all who dined at his restaurant. He was truly proud of what he had done and it had showed. Through the pandemic, of course restaurants began to close... We all watched it happen and he held on to his as long as he could just like every other business did in University Heights in the wake of this crisis. I remember him smiling and saying “It is what it is Jo Jo, I can’t change it so why should I be upset?” And just like that he was back in his food truck feeding San Diego the food that they love and catering any events that he could. I’m not looking to save his restaurant or or buy him a new truck, I’m just looking to send him into the new year with a new transmission so he can continue to bring smiles to everyone in the neighborhood. If you ever see his truck, go say hi, I can promise you you’ll be greeted like family each and every time. If you can’t donate, share, if you don’t know how to share then go buy some tacos. In the words of Francisco “Thanks you for coming by lovers.”
