Homelessness is an ever-growing issue within society, worsened by both the cost of living crisis and the housing crisis and figures and statistics back this up.
Between April 2023 - March 2024, the most recent annual count showed nearly 12,000 rough sleepers spotted on the streets of London. This figure is a 19% increase from the year before and a 58% increase from a decade ago.
At least 1,474 deaths were recorded in the UK in 2023, a 12% increase from 2022. The issue of homelessness and the issues borne out of it are getting worse.
The issue of homelessness in London and the UK is genuine. All proceeds from this Go-Fund will go to the Crisis Charity, which helps tackle homelessness.
