Our mission is to create opportunities for at-risk, inner-city youths to compete in USATF & AAU Track & Field, Cross Country, Long Distance Running, Race Walking and other Track and Field sanctioned events through academics, athletics and cultural development. Tachyon TC will provide valuable team and social experiences for the increasing population of public, private, and home-schooled youth, providing athletes to participate in a variety of track & field events throughout the sport. These experiences provide a source of recreation and simultaneously improve athletic skills, health and fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play, cooperation, and leadership skills. Increased self-confidence is just one of the many intangible benefits this program will offer.

Our goal is to place our athletes in a position to received college scholarships with proper athletic training with Olympic level coaches. We educate the athletes on how to properly conduct themselves inside and outside their perspective competitive environment with emphasis on Academics and Athletics (in that order).

Coaches/Trainers Our certified USA Track and Field coaches and Sports strength conditioning trainers have detailed knowledge of each athlete’s specific sport and their positions. They possess a knowledge base of exercise program development and fitness assessment. In addition, they have a general knowledge of exercise physiology, sports psychology, pharmacology, biomechanics sports training, sports nutrition and anatomy to assist the athlete in achieving their goals. 

Locations Tachyon Training Center & Tachyon Track Club with locations in Orange County - Los Angeles -  Riverside, CA.  
 
Coach Dixon has competed and coached Track, Speed and Agility for over 35 years, concentrating mainly on sprinting events. He has coached many; Nationally ranked youth athletes, World and American masters record holders. He is certified to coach Elite Youth and Adult athletes for National/International/Olympic level competition via USA Track & Field (USATF) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). In addition, he is a spokesperson for the USA Track & Fields Win with Integrity Program, Director and Instructor of USA Track & Fields Level 1 Schools (High School, Youth & Club coaches) in the Southern California area.
