Hello, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I start this with a happy note, because even though we have lost a valued and loved father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, husband and friend, as a Christian we know this is temporary and will see Tacho again. That is our great promise and it gives me joy to know this and believe it as fact.
Tacho was a special friend to me. We were in Scouts together in the old Rising Star District for 20 years. He always made me want to do better, as a Scouter which led to other aspects of my life. I wanted to do better, so that I felt I had to right to hang around with him.
Death is never easy for me and it is always inconvienient. We leave everything behind. Those things that are finished and un-finished. It is the un-finished that seems to be inconvienient...Always for the loved ones left behind. We still have to pay the bills, make repairs and complete those things are were un-finished.
It is the un-finished things that Tacho was unable to complete that I would like his friends to help with.
I know that money is needed for the funeral. Since Tacho is being buried at the VA Cemetary, the burial is covered by them. The funeral expenses encurred with Klein Funeral Home is not covered. Help with that would be very much appreciated.
You may or may not be aware, but Tacho's house was flooded at least 2 times. Just as they were moving back in after the first flood, it flooded again and destroyed everything that had just been rebuilt. In one of these floods, they lost a vehicle. Tacho had his stroke before they could complete the work on the house. I've talked with Greg Trevino and there is still some things that need to be done. Financial support at this time will go a long way in helping Fran and the family get the house in order to be lived in once again.

However, the real purpose of this website is to ask for money for Francis to help her move on with her life, get her house rebuilt and pay any bills that may be pilling up. Any amount will be appreciated.
