Tabitha's get well fund

I am riding the Prudential Ride London for my friend Tabitha Dow. Tabs and I have grown up together and we have been the closest of friends since we were 7. In recent years Tabitha’s health has deteriorated, and she is currently battling multiple illnesses. Her most recent diagnosis, and possibly the hardest for her friends and family to deal with is thyroid cancer.

Tabitha’s health started to deteriorate around 2013, and daily chronic head pain became the norm. Unable to work, she was forced to give up her job and life in London to move back home with her parents in 2015 who are now her carers. Tabitha has been on a rather bumpy medical journey unable to get appropriate diagnoses, and therefore no real treatment. In recent months through her own research and help from experts around the world she has decided to undertake multiple alternative treatments. These treatments are not available on the NHS and are therefore a great expense to her family.

So on Sunday I am riding a 100 miles for Tabs, because I am fit and able, and hope that money raised can go towards making my friend well again!
