Koda's Hip Surgery

Hi! My name is Koda, and I need hip surgery.

I'm a 7 month old Great Pyrenees puppy. On Tuesday, September 22nd, I was given the harsh news that I have moderate to severe hip dysplasia. This means that my hip socket doesn't completely cover the ball of my thigh bone, causing my hip joint to easily dislocate. Over time, this will cause severe pain and eventually my thigh will completely dislocate from the socket. In order to fix this problem, I need to go through a complete hip replacement surgery which costs $8,000. The funds raised will be directly spent on the surgery and recovery process. The surgery will be within the next few months, after I see a specialist about what steps to take.


Any amount helps, we just want the best for this loving goofball of a puppy. He is the sweetest boy we could ask for and it breaks my heart that he needs this serious of an operation at such a young age. He already has developed a slight limp, but that doesn't stop him from trying to run around and jump on his big sister, Hayley.
