House Fire

My sister-in-law and I were in my nieces room playing ‘dolls’ with her and my nephew. My niece is 2, and my nephew is 1.

I noticed the lights flickering, we figured it was a storm heading our way. My sister-in-law, Amanda, then got up to go to the kitchen and noticed the detached garage engulfed in flames which were headed towards the house. We had to rush and gather the children, and escape as quickly as possible.

There were approximately 15-20 chickens, 2 goats, 5 hunting dogs, and one cat all of which were involved in the fire. Fortunately, we were able to save the goats and the hunting dogs.

The house was a total loss.
