Jen and David's IVF Journey

My name is Nicole Reiss. For those of you who don't know I am Jennifer's cousin. I wanted to start this go fund me page for both David and Jen because I feel that these 2 people have been through so much and are so deserving of this help from their friends and family. I have watched them struggle with infertility for years. I personally witnessed the emotional struggles and the losses that they have endured along the way.  If you can find it in your heart to help in anway, I know they would be very appreciative. They are both not one to ask for help. In conversations that I have had with Jen lately and the struggle that they know lies ahead, prompted me to set this up for them.  She will probably kill me when she finds out.  Here is their story.
Jen and David were married on Feb 5 2016 and knew they wanted to start a family right away.
They tried for months and with no success sought out medical advice. They saw a fertility doctor in October 2016. Doctor ran some tests and found out that the best option for them to have a baby would be through IVF.
IVF is a very expensive medical procedure that requires a lot of time off work and a lot of money up front, as many insurance plans do not provide any coverage for infertility-related services. They set out to start their medicines in December 2016 and transfer in Janury 2017. They only had one egg and it didn't fertilize. They were devasted. This full round had cost $25,000. My Aunt Renee, wanted a granchild so bad that she paid for the first round.
The second time they had set out to try was in April 2017. They started all the medicines and were set to have the transfer in may 2017. They did the transfer and this time it didn't take. They found out they were not pregnant and were both devastated. At that same time, they had just lost a dear friend, so they were struggling emotionally.
They waited until July 2017 And thought they would give it a go. So they ordered medicines and set up the procedures that have to be done to help in everyway to make this work. They had the transfer in August, which i got to go in the room with Jen and see it. During this time they found out that Jen's mom(my aunt) had cancer. My aunt was home recovering from surgery when they got the news that they were pregnant. Jen and David were so excited. This is what they have longed for and it finally happened. Jen's mom had gotten worse and needed to go to the ER. She never left the hospital again and passed a weeke later, but not without knowing she was going to be a grandma. Unfortuunately the stress of the loss of her mom, was so unbearable that they lost the baby, the day after she passed.
I know they are planning to give it one more go. Let's help in anyway we can. Even if you can't donate. I know Jen and David would appreciate your prayers and support.
