This is a gofundme to help lift the financial burden that Janie and Dustin Futch face in the many missed days of work and many medical expenses they will incur with their precious Clayton's fight against cancer.
In Janie's words... their story
If only words could do justice the emotion felt in the last couple days...
Not quite 48 hours ago we discovered that our perfect little baby has a tumor the size of a baseball inside of his abdomen. Today we found out that it's what no parent wants to hear...cancer.
(Pending confirmation from pathology) Clayton has been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. He has an extremely tough road ahead of him. I wish this little boy could be aware of the love and support and prayers of those all around him. The outpouring of blessings towards our family has been unfathomable. We couldn't be more grateful and I don't even know how to show everyone how thankful we are for the genuine kindness shown by too many people for me to even count. Literally, if I haven't messaged you back please know that every well wish has been received with such needed and grateful hearts. There is simply not enough time in these hours with him right now for me to respond to every one...but they definitely mean the world!
Like many of you reading this, Dustin and I wish we could take this from him and go through it all for him so badly! But, that's not the way God has it designed and Clayton's seemingly horrible journey is destined to be a beautiful story that God has crafted just for him, and for me, and for you. It is so hard to see the beauty of something when we know God can simply move the mountain but refuses to do it on our watch. He has a plan, hearts he wants changed, people made whole, families coming together, and so many other things unseen...and if Clayton's story is a part of that process than I feel honored he has asked me to take care of his precious angel here on earth.
