Cheryl's medical fund

We all have that good friend...the one that is always there for you and puts your needs before hers. The one that you can call and pick up right where you left off, regardless of how much time has passed. She is sweet, sincere and honestly has a heart of gold. That friend for me is Cheryl Lucas Kortan. Just recently Cheryl noticed a mass on her chest and had to go in for a biopsy procedure, unfortunately the doctor could not make a diagnoses based off of the sample given, so she had to go back for a second procedure, they took a large section of the mass and she spent the night at the hospital. On Nov 2, Cheryl received the news she has Lymphoma, a blood cancer that will require aggressive treatment. She will be starting her first chemo treatment on Nov 28, and will continue every other week for six months. Her doctor advised her she cannot work as she works with the public and he doesn't want her jeopardizing her immune system. Cheryl and her husband Chris, have two beautiful children, Alyssa (3 years old) and Alex (one year old) They will be going from two incomes down to one. Nerves are running high as they are trying to figure out how to juggle treatment, caring for their family, the holidays and medical expenses. Every bit will help her family stay on track, let’s come together and offer some financial relief so Cheryl and her family can focus on her treatments and getting healthy.
