Hi everyone!
In May of 2018, I am hoping to be leaving to Mombasa, Kenya with IVHQ - International Volunteer HQ - as a volunteer to teach children basic education such as mathematics, english, social studies, and science. I will be staying the month of May.
This will be my first time travelling alone and I will be staying with a host family. The school where I will be placed is extremely understaffed and underprivileged. They don't have many of the supplies that are necessary to help teach the children efficiently. Children learn in many different ways and need a lot of hands on activities to help them grasp the concept.
Your donations will go towards supplies for the classrooms and help me find my way there! I am hoping that this experience will enhance my teaching experience, making me a better teacher.
This has been a goal of mine and every donation of any amount will help me immensely and be very appreciated. Please help me reach my goal and enrich the lives of the children in Mambosa.
