A Second Chance for Snax

Snax Man, Snaxeroni and Cheese, Snax Pack, my Golden Nugget, Mr. Snax... you all have a name for him as he has a special place in all of your hearts. Snax entered my life a little over 3 years ago and has brought nothing but joy to me and those around him. The amount of unconditional love this little creature holds has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. Every morning I wake up to him wrapped in my arms with his head on my pillow, up for any adventure we're about to take on that day.

As some of you may have seen from social media, Snax has been in and out of the vet over the past two months. About a month ago the vet discovered that there was blood in Snax's urine and he was loosing so much his little body was not able to produce enough to keep him alive and healthy. After searching  for an answer a specialist finally discovered the Snax has a kidney disease and a tumor that is causing the bleeding.  After performing a very specialized surgery almost two weeks ago the vet shared the unfortunate news that the surgery was not successful and Snax would need to have his kidney removed or he would not live.  Snax is only 4, there are still many adventures in his little life for him to go on... 

The first surgery I was able to cover with the help of my parents, however because of how specialized it was it came with a heavy price. Kidney surgery is even more expensive and I am not able to cover it on my own. I am asking for your help with just a portion of the cost, I will find a way to cover the remainder as I would do anything to save my best friend. Even a dollar will make all the difference in helping me to keep the most special soul I know alive. I honestly don't think I would make it without this animal in my life. We are bounded by something so deep and powerful, I am forever thankful he found me and decided to never leave my side.
