Last week my sister Carrie and her husband Dave heard the words no parent ever imagines hearing... Your child has brain cancer. Cali a 8 year old little girl was immediately transported to Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami. That night they placed a drain in her brain to relieve fluid build up. She was a trooper. On Monday, the most amazing doctors operated on her for 101/2 hours and were able to remove the entire tumor! Cali has a cancer called Medulla Blastoma. This beautiful little girl has a long road ahead of her. Once she is well enough she will be transferred to a radation and chemotherapy treatment center in Jacksonville 5 hours from her home and family! Her mom and dad and siblings will be with her every step of the way through this journey! I am setting up this find for whatever they might need help with.
