June 2019 nearly 2 Years ago, lewis 27 years old, was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer glioblastoma, under going several operations chemotherapy and radiotherapy, lewis was able to beat the tumour on the front of his brain which gave him a 2 year life span. When Lewis had beat this tumour and we were over the moon realising he has done so well. After attending a few more appointments with Lewis's consultant, she mentioned that unfortunately it has moved to the back of his brain stem, under going more chemotherapy we was told that this was only going to give him an extra few more months nothing long term. Hearing this news I knew that I wanted to be able to spend as much time with Lewis as I could as his wife not a girlfriend. So I proposed to him on this birthday last year, But Covid has come through and had stopped me from working, I haven't been able to go to work for Lewis's health, not wanting to risk going out and bringing covid home to make lewis even more unwell.
The reason for this fundraiser is to help us get the happily ever after that we would both love. Even to this day and many more to come, myself and lewis will never give up trying our hardest to have hope and the motivation of beating his tumour. Your donations of any sort will be so appreciated, all funding will go towards our wedding and hopefully a honeymoon even if it is in the UK. Every penny will be split towards the church, venue, venue decorating, flowers dress and suit. Any money left remaining will be going to Macmillan the cancer charity, for doing their hardest work for Lewis and support that they have given.
The funding will be needed to be complete by June 2021, so buying things ready for the 7th August 2021, we can have our magical day, forgetting about all the awful things we've had to overcome in the last 2 years together. With your help along side our own, we might just be able to have the most perfect day for the both of us, no matter how little it may be.
Myself and Lewis have decided that left overs from the funding will be going to mcmillian cancer trust!
