I believe that artists play an invaluable role for creating a better future for all beings on this bright, blue, beautiful planet.
I'm raising funds to expand my studio blooming. As an artist, I see this moment in time as an amazing door opener, a blank canvas for us to create with. There's nothing more exciting to me than a fresh, blank canvas where all the possibilities lay wide open, for us to choose.
Some of you know that I work out of my home and have a small gallery in my home where I create paintings and also inventory and ship to you when you purchase. I also count on bringing my art to you in art fairs and events. Art fairs and events have been cancelled or postponed until further notice. This has interrupted my exposure to you and the public. I even had to cancel my own workshops.
The funds that I'm raising here will allow me to create more art during these difficult times and to continue my ability to share my creativity with you. Like many businesses today I need to reinvent myself. I require assistance and support for hiring a team that will support me in doing this. This will involve creative people who also need support. The support from good people like you will assist in covering some of my operating expenses. This includes art fair booth fees, insurance, product photography for print making, fabric creations and assistance with marketing and social media etc. And there are many day-to-day expenses that need to be covered.
My art work has been evolving around color, inspiration and joy and very often depicts nature, from trees to flowers and abstracts etc. I desire to create more awareness for our planet and its resources and to inspire joyful action and engagement with you.
Your contribution in any amount that you're comfortable with means the world to me and the world of art. Asking for and raising funds has been one of my greatest challenges and is not easy for me. So, here I am, entering new territory asking for your support, humbled, joyful and immensely grateful.
