Hi! My name is Annie Ford, and I'm a Marine Biologist, mountain biker and surfer from Australia.
 I am fundraising for climate action by riding solo on my mountain bike from Mexico to Whistler, across America. With your support, we can help stop damaging new offshore oil and gas projects currently proposed in our oceans. All funds raised will go towards grassroots groups working to end the search for oil and gas, and specifically to end the largest seismic blasting proposal on earth, ever. These charities are significantly underfunded, and are working hard to protect environmentally sensitive areas and the communities that rely on them. I am working to provide a voice and representation for these groups, and your support will make a much needed difference. I am privileged to work as a Marine Biologist and environmental volunteer, where I see the impacts of degradation in our oceans firsthand. Witnessing these impacts has motivated me to educate others - from schools to politicians - and take direct action to ensure these areas remain abundant, biodiverse and healthy for generations to come. All funds raised will go directly to projects working to 1) end seismic blasting (the damaging search for oil and gas) and 2) reduce global fossil fuel emissions.
