Life after the fire
Donation protected
On Tuesday September 18, 2018 my coworker and his family were returning from Tennessee where they had evacuated from Hurricane Florence to find their home in Brunswick County, North Carolina, had been devasted. Not only had the winds from Florence lifted the part of the roof off, but during the hurricane, a tree had fallen on their home. When power was restored in their area, the tree caught on fire. Their home has been severely damaged due to the smoke from the fire, and then water from the storm. That family consists of a mother and father and 5 children. The father is employed as a Maintenance Foreman at Carolina Creations Landscapes, Inc.
I, Christina Rogers, along with Jonathan Thrift, General Manager, at Carolina Creations am looking to our community, whether local or online, to help get this family back on their feet. Once they find a place to live they will need help restoring their lives.
I, on behalf of Carolina Creations Landscapes, believe that a community is capable of helping one another when the time calls for it. Terrence Jenrette is a very important part of our work community and it is extremely important to Carolina Creations that he and his family get back on their feet as quickly as possible.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for all the help you can give. It is a tragedy that any family has to go through such a horrific chain of events. My only hope is that you can find it in your heart to join me and help my friend.
