Hurricane Irma Storm Recovery

Hi Friends,
As most of you know, our friend and co-worker, David Crump, was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Irma, which devastated the southeast region of our country back in September. Heavy rains and high winds led to surging tides, rising inter-coastal waters, and severe wide-spread flooding. David and his wife, Judie, live a few blocks from the ocean in the small town of Flagler Beach, Florida. As Hurricane Irma approached, David and Judie intensely fought the rising waters with sand bags for several hours, but eventually the exterior of their house gave way and their home flooded with over 18 inches of water. Luckily, they were able to drive cars to higher ground and find refuge in a hotel. However, most of their furniture and personal belongings were destroyed by the water, along with much of the internal structure of their newly remodeled home, which they had tirelessly worked on for the past year. The good news is that David and Judie have flood insurance that will cover their house. The bad news is the insurance doesn't cover personal belongings, furniture, food expenses, etc.
David and Judie have been staying incredibly strong and positive throughout this ordeal - they have even continued their generosity toward others in the wake of this challenge, without asking for anything in return. We would like to do the same for them. Please consider supporting them with whatever you can – any level of gift will be greatly appreciated. Prayers are definitely welcome as well.
