Save Charlie

My mom is on disability, lives alone and she recently adopted Charlie.

Charlie has been an emotional support animal for my mom who provides support to her. My mom is on disability because she has been diagnosed with tracheobronchomalacia, COPD,  vocal dysplasia, sleep apnea, severe asthma, and severe anxiety. These medical conditions combined with living alone, required the necessity for her to adopt Charlie. Charlie not only provides support to address her anxiety, but also carries her 10 different medications and her medical history in a cute vest in case of an emergency.

My mom had surgery this week (she makes 7-10 trips a month to the hospital and other specialists) and took Charlie with her to the hospital to help with her anxiety. Well on the way home from the hospital, Charlie jumped in front of traffic and suffered several major injuries.

The total vet bill is $1,591.17 and we have been able to pull $600 so far.

Charlie has broken his pelvis, dislocated his hip, and sustained other severe injuries. My mom is absolutely heart broken and we cannot make up the remaining $1,000 between us kids.

His surgery is on Friday and payment is due so we can save his life. We have attached some photos of Charlie before/after the accident, and a copy of the bill as well.
