Team Taylor Tough!

Have you ever wondered what a fighter looks like?  Let us introduce you to Taylor.  She is a beautiful 2 year old little girl, with a loving older brother, a father who serves in our military, and an incredibly hard working mother.  Taylor was born on October 10th, 2016 and at 11 days old Taylor was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  She fought the battle and won, however on July 19th, 2018 her Leukemia came back and this sweet child is now going through this fight for the second time in her very short life.  

In all of this, a blessing presented itself.   The family found out they are expecting a baby boy, November 1st of 2018.

Taylor has a long road ahead of her including continued treatment and a bone-marrow transplant from her courageous 5 year old brother who is a perfect match.  We are all still crossing our fingers that the cord blood retrieval, once the baby is born, will also be a match that could save Taylor’s life.  

The hope moving forward is that Taylor and her family get the kindness and support that they need.  With the arrival of the new baby and Taylor’s continued treatment they will need a lot of help to include: funding for a meal train, housekeeping, transportation bills for family coming to help, child care for their oldest son, not to mention the growing medical expenses to fight this terrible disease.  Your support makes all the difference for this family who is fighting and this little girl who seems to still always be smiling - we love you Taylor!
