Hospital bills and funeral expenses

I am raising money for Jason Ballinger. In March of this year, weeks after his sixteenth birthday he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor; to which he went through multitudes surgeries and chemo therapy. But this sweet, kind, exuberant  young boy who never was without a smile, is now in hospice care. 

Jason’s mom, Ellen, is his sole caregiver, a single parent who I witnessed first hand an unparalleled strength and love for her only son. Despite the emotional pain and financial stress, Ellen still found a way to elevate those around her, all while doing the same for her son.

In six months from when he was diagnosed, I witnessed the decline in Jason’ health. From once a very active and vibrant boy, now even the simplest of tasks are impossible for him without his mom. With her small frame under five feet tall, she finds strength to lift Jason up from his wheelchair. Hospital bills are piling up, and eventually the expenses that comes after. But Ellen is willing to focus on the beauty of what is gifted to her now, rather than what despair that will be met in later time... Ellen is giving it her all, to enjoy the time she have left with her son.

Now I am turning to all of you, if you all can find it in your hearts to give, no amount is too small. That way this single mother can just worry about the time she has left with Jason. Let us make it a little bit easier on her. No mother is ever ready for something like this, it is never in our plan to fight for our child’ life.
