Hope for Jerry

Meet Jerry. I first met him in an orphanage that I work with in Gonaives, Haiti in 2007. He was 12then, and is now 22.
Through our help at the orphanage, he was provided a regular meal, Bible education, and he attended school. He graduated last year. Since Jerry has no family to care for him or live with, the next step after high school is uncertain. There are not many options for him. That's why we want to help.
We want to help Jerry develop skills, education, and a game plan for a hopeful future. His dreams are to have a family of his own, and a sustainable business, and while in the USA that is easily attainable, in Haiti it is not.
My wife and I are bringing Jerry to the USA to live with us for 6 months. During that time, we will train and equip him with the necessary tools and resources to take back to his home country, and operate a successful business. We will then provide ongoing training and support after that to ensure a sustainable outcome. While we could find a way to do this alone, we know the joy it could bring others who would like to be involved in shaping this young mans future.
You can give monetarily here. The needs are endless...a visa, plane tickets, clothing, English classes, business start up costs, etc. You can also give your prayers for this journey. That God will provide a way and empower Jerry to create change. Every bit helps, so please get involved.
