Support youth mental wellbeing
Hi everyone!
We are Championing Youth Minds , a youth-led non-profit organisation founded in April 2021, aiming to support young people help other young people care for their mental wellbeing. Through free online resources accessible to all schools, parents and youth, workshops and social media, we help our youth understand mental health and effective strategies that work best for them. We need your help!
All the costs for Championing Youth Minds has been funded from the savings of our founder, Tanya who is also a full-time university student. The vision has been to ensure our platform is as accessible as possible, this includes having no cost attached to it so all young people can utilise it. This is Tanya's passion and resonates with other young people but people of all ages; we need your support to carry on supporting and empowering youth mental wellbeing.
Championing Youth Minds is invited to speak at Worthing Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 and the Hope For Life 2021 conference in the next few months. We would love to provide physical information packs, resources and wellbeing care packages at these events, therefore any donations would be greatly appreciated to help us achieve this. We plan to rent out spaces in London to run in-person youth workshops, any support would be incredible!
So far we have delivered a 10 week free virtual workshop program for young people, giving them a safe space to learn, share and also lead their own workshop. We are proud to have connected with over 400 young people since we started and having established partnerships with MeeToo and Mind.
