Celena's Medical Fund

Chaunn, Celena & Joshua 

My name is Chaunn, I am 18 years old and a college freshman. I have a younger brother, Joshua, who is 12 years old. My mother, Celena Thomas, a single mom, who was working, going to school and taking care of us.

On October 29, 2015, my mother was found unconscious on the living room floor.  My mom suffered a stroke and was in liver failure from nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.  She was in ICU/hospital for weeks then was transferred to a local rehabilitation center for an additional two weeks. The doctors found on an x-ray a hole in her intestines and they performed an emergency surgery. My granny told them my mom was in no condition for the surgery and the doctors said "she is going to die either way." 

By the grace of GOD, my mom is here with us today, but she has not been able to work and has lots of hospital bills along with the regular monthly bills. Anything you can do to help us would be greatly appreciated and mean so much to me and my little brother and especially my mom.
