Syrup for Syria

More than half of all Syrians are displaced from their homes, which makes Syria the world's largest displacement crisis. Ten years of war in Syria have left over 13 million people in need of aid. Fighting in Syria has led to the destruction of homes, schools, and hospitals and has devastated infrastructure and services including water, sanitation, and electricity systems. The health system has been decimated, undermining Syrians’ ability to cope with the current wave of COVID-19 amid a supply shortage and increased airstrikes.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides emergency and long-term services to displaced families and Syrians who have stayed in their homes, with a particular focus on supporting women and children.

We tap trees and make maple syrup in our backyard! For a suggested donation of $10 to the IRC, we will thank you with a 1.7 oz bottle of pure maple syrup. Please let us know how many bottles you'd like for your donation. To donate via check, cash, or Venmo, let us know by going to our website (syrupforsyria.org) and clicking the "Contact" button. Thank you!
