Some of you know him as Kriss Mercedes, some as Joe Blues....around here he is husband, father, caretaker. He had some stomach pain that started on Sunday and as a fever presented today, I encouraged him to go the the ER. He has been diagnosed with Appendicitis and is having emergency surgery on Wednesday. He has already missed 2 weeks because of Covid, and now will miss another, and being he's at a new job, our insurance doesn’t go into effect until January 1st. The financial department let us know, even before they wheeled him back, that the bill was already at $20,000!!!! I am not comfortable asking for help AT ALL but these expenses are going to make our life more uncomfortable than it already has been this year. I don’t know what else to do. We have prayed for relief and done what we can to get on our feet after this horrific year named 2020! If Kriss has ever touched your life, or you just have a little extra love to help our family, we could really use it! Also....we will take ALL the prayers! ( they cost nothing)
