Symphony Fundraiser

In 2019, I completed my first Symphony, for Brass Band and Percussion. Coming in at about one hour and ten minutes, I believe it to be the longest piece ever composed for a Brass Band. Based on the novel, Nation, by Terry Pratchett, the Symphony's five movements tell the story in music and my emotional response to it. 

I'm absolutely determined to get a recording of the Symphony or even a live performance, hence this fundraiser. The Symphony is challenging for any Brass Band and I believe that only a handful of truly great bands could pull off a project of this size. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap!  This fundraiser aims to contribute to the costs of engaging a great band alongside other fundraising measures I have planned.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of Brass Band history. I'm realistically looking at 2021 so there's no real rush but your support would mean the world to me.  I'm pretty certain that my donors will receive a discount voucher for when the CD is released. 

I know that there are more pressing concerns for most people than essentially sponsoring a music project but your donations (whatever amount) would be life-changing. I am no longer a young man and my opportunities to create a legacy are fast slipping away.  Allow me to take my place in Brass Band history whilst buying into the whole project yourself.
