Sylvie möchte leben!

Sylvie ist Mutter, Ehefrau, Tochter und Freundin..... und sie ist schwer krank!                                                (scroll down for English version)


Im Juli 2012 wurde Brustkrebs diagnostiziert. Ein großer Schock für die ganze Familie und die damals sechs jährige Tochter. Nach diversen Behandlungen, Operationen und Chemotherapie schien der Krebs besiegt.


Mehr als vier Jahre später, im November 2016, erhielt Sylvie die schreckliche Nachricht: Neue Metastasen in der Leber.
Seitdem kämpft sie um ihr Leben. (siehe Bericht unten)

Zweieinhalb Jahre durchstand sie mehrere Medikamentenstudien und hielt den Krebs in Schach.
Am 17.06.2019 schlug das Leben wieder hart zu. Eine Blasenentzündung entwickelte sich zum Albtraum: Stationäre Aufnahme - bis Heute!


Akut kämpft sie mit vielen verschiedenen Beschwerden, die wir mit allen Mittel besiegen wollen. Dafür brauchen wir eure Unterstützung!
Die gesetzlichen Leistungen beschränken sich auf das Nötigste.
Will Sylvie eine Chance haben braucht sie weitere kostenintensive Unterstützung. Dies beinhaltet neben Komplementärmedizin (z. B. immunregulierende Peptide) und teuren Zusatztherapien,  auch Beinschienen um die Rückgewinnung von Mobilität zu ermöglichen und Physiotherapie um die Muskeln und Sehnen beweglich zu erhalten. Dazu kommen kleine Umbauten im Haushalt und am  Auto, ein Rollstuhl oder einfach nur ein Badsitz.
All das muss selbst bezahlt und finanziert werden.
Der Spagat zwischen Arbeit und Sorge um Sylvie bringt Ihre Familie an die Grenzen des Machbaren. Dazu kommt die zusätzliche finanzielle Belastung im Alltag: Zuzahlungen zu Medikamenten und Krankenhausaufenthalt, Fahrtkosten, Parken am Krankenhaus und viele Kleinigkeiten mehr.
Die letzten drei Jahre haben die finanziellen Rücklagen komplett aufgebraucht.

Wir hoffen auf diesem Wege Unterstützung zu erhalten um Sylvie eine Chance zu geben!

Sylvie is a mother, spouse, daughter and friend….. and she is very sick!

In July 2012 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shocking news for the whole family and her, back then, six year old daughter. After several therapies, surgeries and chemotherapy it looked like the cancer was defeated.

More than four years later, in November 2016, Sylvie was confronted with horrible news:
Metastases in the liver.
Since then she is fighting for her life. (see medical report below)

Two and a half years she went through several drug studies and kept the cancer in check.
On June the 17th 2019 life struck hard again. An inflammation in her bladder turned into a nightmare: Sent for admission – till today!

At the very moment she fights different disorders that we want to overcome with all efforts it will take. Therefore we need your help!
The benefits of the state health insurance are limited to the very basics.
If Sylvie wants to have a chance she needs additional cost intensive support. This includes besides complementary medicine (e.g. immuneregulating peptides) and expensive add-on therapies also leg splints to regain mobility to be able to have physiotherapy to keep her muscles and sinews mobile. Adding on is small customization at the house and car, buying a wheelchair, or just a chair for the shower.
All this needs to be paid and funded.

The balancing act between work and concerns about Sylvie pushes her family to the limits. To this the additional financial burden in daily life adds on: Co-payment for medication and the hospital stay, travel expenses, parking at the hospital and lots of small somethings more.
The last three years ate up the financial reserves entirely.

With this campaign we hope to find the support to give Sylvie a chance!
