Sylvia Hutson's Memorial Fund

My sister, Sylvia Hutson, passed away on July 13, 2017 at 6:10 a.m. after a very short fight with an aggressive cancer. She was the General Manager for the Colorado Springs Chorale, the group she loved and served, and also sang alto with for 30 years. She was loved by so many in the arts community here in Colorado Springs, and she has served several organizations with her administrative, marketing, and graphic design expertise over the years.

Sylvia had a very strong faith in Christ, and she was very brave facing death, never losing the joyful spirit that she was known for. She will be missed by her family, her church family, and her friends and colleagues!

Her trips to the E.R., her hospital stays, and her passing, have generated some medical bills that we need help with. We don't know exactly how much that will be as we're waiting on Medicaid. Anything contributed that exceeds the medical costs we have will be used to continue to support Sylvia's Compassion International kids. We are pleased that so many people have expressed the desire to help us in her honor.
