Sylvia &Scott-suffered a Total Loss

Hi friends,

We are sure you may have read about the tragic flood in Houston and, in particular, it's effects on Sylvia & Scott's home. 

Sylvia & Scott have suffered a TOTAL, TOTAL LOSS. 

Everything they own has been destroyed by the water. As a matter of fact, their neighborhood is currently still underwater, as seen in the picture, shown here, taken today.  And worse yet, more rain & flooding is on the way...

Sylvia & Scott are so very thankful to God for their lives & that they were able to get out when they did.  Many of their neighbors were forced into their attics and rooftops to await rescue. The rescue of one of Sylvia & Scott's elderly neighbors, from his attic, was shown live on national television.

Sylvia & Scott have only a couple of luggages and their pets, to their names. Everything they own is gone. Can you help, by first offering continued prayers for them and the residence who are still experiencing this tragedy? Second, if you could contribute any amount at all, this would help them with their immediate needs of daily life, food, shelter, gas, toiletries, etc. & rest assured, they would be eternally grateful.

We have to mention a silver lining ~ They were incredibly blessed that Sylvia's parents took refuge in Midland and did not have to suffer through this devastating flood, however, they reside with Sylvia & Scott and are now without a home, as well.

Finally, one last silver lining ~ Sylvia & Scott are newlyweds! 

This is yet another reason to be a part of helping them rebuild their lives and aid them in their "next steps" and their "where do we go from here..." moments, that the coming days will bring.
