Syla's Dog-tor Bills (Vet)

  Help Us Save Syla!  

 A local Tahoe pup, owned and loved by Captain Donnie Pereira and his family. Syla has provided cuteness and tail wags to the community for many years.

In the past few weeks Syla’s health has taken a very dramatic turn, she went from chasing chipmunks and munching on treats, to being unable to walk. 

She is now facing a very serious situation. The Dog-tor ( Vet ) has determined from tests, that the next step is a 2-part ultrasound to confirm the suspected diagnosis of a thyroid problem.

‍⚕️ If the vets diagnosis is confirmed, she will need a pretty big surgery to remove one of her Thyroid glands, allowing her to return to her happy tail-wagging self . 

Unfortunately, this all comes at a price. So far it’s already cost our family over $1,000 in vet bills. Of course, Syla is worth every penny, but with the pandemic and the loss of jobs in our family, it’s reached a point where we need to ask for your help. 

We understand that 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, so we really appreciate anything that you give.
