Hi. Our names are Xavier Byrne and Edward Nink. We are both Year 10 students at St Ignatius College, Riverview, who are participating in a virtual immersion for students in Cambodia.

From the 4th-25th of August, we will be teaching students who come from low-income families English via video calls after school on Mondays. Many of the students are hard-working and strive to go to university, but simply don't have the funds or opportunity to. By learning English, they will have more opportunities for work and education, which they can use to better their situation.

On the 24th of August, we will run the equivalent of a half-marathon (21 km) in one go at the Bay Run around Iron Cove. In doing this, we ask that you donate any sum of money to help raise funds for scholarships for disadvantaged students in Cambodia.

Every donation counts and will be greatly appreciated by both us and the students of Cambodia, who only ask for the opportunity to receive a quality education.
