Bettina and Dharan`s karma collection

It is remarkable how much Sri Lanka has had to endure over the last decades, and its children and wildlife have been all but helpless as the island has witnessed one unfortunate event after the other. It already means so much to us that you are part of this wedding and witnessing, first hand, this beautiful country. We don't need any gifts, but we would be touched by any of you who would like to join us in donating a small gift to this pearl of the Indian Ocean.

On behalf of everyone, we will be making a donation to the Nuffield School for the Deaf and Blind, located just a short distance from Dharan's dad's house in Jaffna. 750 EUR will allow us to sponsor a child for 6 months.

And to offset a tiny part of our wedding's huge carbon footprint, we will also be sending half the proceeds to Sri Lanka's Wildlife Conservation Society  - an organisation committed to mitigating the effects of us humans on animals through community-led activities.
