Bring Paul Home
Donation protected
You will probably know that Paul Agoro passed away last week. Paul was a larger than life man, and a vibrant part of the Liverpool community.
Many of you will know him as being the heart and soul of The Grapes in Roscoe Street alongside his beloved Anna. But Paul had a long history of community cohesion through his passion for artistic projects, particularly in Granby and Toxteth.
You may not know though that Paul was in Barbados with Anna when he died. He wanted to go on one last lovely trip with Anna before he passed and she was glad he got that chance.
Unfortunately, because Paul had a terminal illness, their insurance did not cover any costs linked to his illness including getting him home.
We have therefor set up a crowdfunder in the hope that people will help to get Paul home as swiftly as possible and back where he belongs with his children and other loved ones so they can lay him to rest in his beloved Liverpool.
Anna is still with Paul in Barbados and has been happy to pay for medical treatment there but is now struggling. As you can imagine, the costs involved are high (including legal, travel, funeral home).
If you are able to contribute anything, even a fiver, to help, Paul's loved ones will be extremely grateful. It is difficult enough for them at this time.
If you do not have access to a bank account it would be preferable for you to get someone who has to put funds in for you as this would be the quickest way for money to be accessed. Alternatively, please visit The Grapes, Roscoe Street where Paul knew so many of you from and they will gladly collect funds there.
Thank you for thinking of Paul and his loved ones. Let's get him home.
