Sydney's Summer Vet Camp
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Sydney Pierce. I'm 15 and a freshman in high school.
I have always loved animals, and I want to be a vet when I grow up. In order to do that, I need animal and veterinary experience.

When I was 12, I took a test that admitted me into Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program). Duke TIP has many educational and fun summer programs. These 3 week programs are hosted at universities all over the US and cover any and all subjects under the sun.

This summer, there is a summer studies program called "Introduction to Veterinary Medicine". It is hosted at the University of Georgia, and while there I will learn about veterinary school, animals, science, and the premise of veterinary medicine as a career. I will gain a lot of the experience that I need.

The only problem is that the program costs $3,800 (the remaining $200 is for travel expenses). It will be a great learning experience for me, but a huge financial strain on my family.

That's where you guys come in. My parents are going to help out, but in order to attend this camp, I need some money. I appreciate any support that you can give me- financial or otherwise. Whether you donate 10 cents, 10 dollars, or nothing at all, I thank you all for even checking out this page. Thank you so much :)
