Elenor's Sydney Fundraiser
Elenor Tedenborg. The chick with a heart as big as Sweden.
Fluent in Swenglish, former occasional lead-foot, the perfect photographer with whom to approach hot guys during a street poll … and with a laugh that comes from her always stylish boots.
In her more than 20 years in Australia, Elenor has been as much at home in watering holes and on dance floors, as in cafes, yoga studios, fruit shops, beaches and swimming laps in her beloved pools.
The phrase “beautiful inside and out” could have been written for Elenor.
Anyone who has crossed paths with Ele in her professional and/or personal life knows what we mean.
Since December Elenor and her beautiful family – partner Simon and sons Charlie and Eli have been fighting a ferocious battle with Elenor’s breast cancer. Diagnosed while pregnant, Elenor had bubba Eli early so she could start fighting the cancer.
With the incredible help of many supporters through another fundraiser, Ele was able to get a special drug which unfortunately did not finish the cancer off, so she needed to undergo another round of lifesaving chemo and radiotherapy.
A fundraising night is being held at the Old Manly Boatshed, Manly on September 8 to help Elenor and Simon find their feet again financially but to let her friends cheer her on through her recovery.
We understand people who can’t attend the event (and even those who can) will want to help other ways, which is why have set up this page.
From Manly to Cairns, from Kiama to Albury, “The Swede” has spread her magic dust and now it’s time to give her a bit of her own medicine. Dig deep to help The One, The Only Elenor – the most generous, cheeky, open, compassionate, sensitive and obviously bloody hottest Swede to ever grace Aussie shores!
