A Huge Step in Faith

Ever since I was 10 years old, I felt a calling on my heart from God to go to Africa.  Everyone always said that I was crazy because I wanted to go there but there has been a pull on my heart to go to Africa for so many years. Recently, I have been praying that God show me my purpose and how I can be used to spread his love. My heart has been on fire for Him and I am ready for Him to use me to make a positive change in the world. So with this in mind, I decided to apply for a study abroad scholarship called Vira Heinz, which allows women who have never been out of the country the opportunity to do so.  After my application being accepted and an interview I was accepted for the scholarship. I know that this was/is God's way of opening a door for me that I would have never been able to open by myself. Thankfully my scholarship helps me pay for my tuition/room and board. Unfortunately, it does not cover my plane ticket, vaccines, my visa, and books and sadly, plane tickets to Tanzania are not cheap. If you know me, you know that I am never the type to ask for help because I would prefer to be the one giving the help. So I want you to know how deeply I appreciate any donation that is given to me. I am so beyond excited to go to Tanzania to not only learn but more importantly to take a huge step in faith to allow God to show me how to spread his love and how I can make the world a better place.
