Dad's Heart Attack

Hi everyone.

Thanks to your support we were able to live comfortably throughout the first couple of months of my mom’s treatments until my mom received grants to pay her medical bills. I couldn’t be more excited to tell you guys that she beat cancer! Without the help of all of you, we truly don’t know how we would have made it through.

However, now my family has been faced with another challenge. Early Wednesday morning my dad had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Last Friday my dad was laid off of his job, and since then still hasn’t received his paycheck from the month prior. Due to him losing his job, he lost the benefits of healthcare so we are struggling to pay these medical bills out of pocket. We’re trying to work with the hospital on lowering the payment, but even with these expenses potentially being lowered, we still need some help to make it through this month. My mom has recently returned to work, but is still in a financially unstable position and in need of my father’s child care payments. My family and I are beyond appreciative of anything you’re able to contribute, even just sharing this post.
