SXM-AUC Recovery / Rebuilding!

As an AUC Alumni and former resident of St. Maarten, I am so devastated to see the mass destruction and severe loss of so much on the island after Hurricane Irma this week.   There have been many AUC Alumni approaching the school on how they can help.   One way to start is to have a way to raise money for the rebuilding and recovery process.    I would like to start this process, and use this gofundme page as a centralized way for alumni to donate to a fund.   

The fund will be shared / split to assure it's allocated for island recovery, student focused recovery (i.e. supplies), and what the school and community really need!   AUC has been around for a long time, and grown into an amazing institution with a stellar reputation.  As alumni, let's focus on helping the school and students sustain in the St. Maarten community.

With full transparency, I will share every step of this process, where the funds are going and allocated.  I have developed a close working relationship with a lot of the administrative team over the past several yaers, and would work directly with them to allocate the funds.    

Thanks for participating and your donation!    I think we all agree that every AUC student is connected in a very special way to St. Maarten, and it is a huge part of our life and where we are today!
