for medical bills and medications

Hey, my name is Estefani and I am fundraising for my boyfriend Chayanne. On July 29th, 2023 around 6:30 pm he was on his motorcycle driving to the store to buy a couple of things we needed for dinner. We were going to make tacos for our family. When turning left at the intersection of Hickory Hill and Winchester Rd, he was hit by a drunk driver causing him to fly off the motorcycle and lose consciousness. I received a call from his cell phone around 6:40 pm but was a bit confused when answering the call due to another person calling me asking if I was Chayanne's girlfriend. I then stated I was and he changed the call to a Facetime call. The man then stated his name was Chis and went on to say " Chayanne was in an accident" then proceeded to flip the camera around. At that moment, my heart dropped as I saw him with his helmet on and a lady leaning over him in the middle of the intersection speaking to Chayanne to keep him conscious. He was able to speak to her but when looking at him I was able to see he was not physically well. At first glance, I notice his arm was broken. I remember Chis telling the lady leading over him to not move him until the paramedics arrived. I asked Chis where they were and proceeded to attempt to call his mom. When I was finally able to stop crying and my words came out I then told her what had happened. He was taken to Regional One in Downtown Memphis, TN. He had surgery the very next morning to insert a bone back into his forearm. He has had one more surgery to fix both his wrist and thumb. He does not have any medical insurance and is unable to work for a couple of months. Any funds that are donated we are hoping may cover some of his medical bills and medication.
