In Loving Memory of Bud

It is with a heavy heart that I am compelled to write this.
Last night on the evening of Tuesday, August 21, 10:40 pm - I lost my best friend, my aspiration in life, My Dad. He was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer last year. He fought hard and was determined till the end. I admired his courage and his fortitude to still have a positive outlook on life, despite the cards he was dealt. Not giving up or retiring, or compromising- he lived everyday looking forward to the next. Still dedicating time to his craft and work.
Those that knew Bud spoke very highly of him, he was without a doubt a genuine, kind, selfless and caring individual.
Always compassionate and considerate of others, Bud could never hate... it wasn’t part of his character.
I take solace in knowing that he is now resting in eternal peace. Our hearts are both heavy and full knowing the impact he made in the lives of many. It is unfathomable to think of a world without him, but we will never forget and continue to carry on his memory, positivity, his compassion and everything we've gained from knowing him.
We are fortunate to have had him as long as we did. Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend and husband- he will undoubtedly be missed.
